The first Přemyslids in didactic applications

(English) The theme of this thesis is to present the time and life of the first Premyslids and to create didactic material for teaching. The didactic material is designed, created and dedicated to teachers of history and history and all students. The work is divided into two parts. The first part, entitled The First Premyslids and their time, is theoretical and deals with the first Premyslids and their time. The first rulers of the Přemyslid family and their relatives are described in detail. The times in which they lived and ruled are described, as well as various aspects of everyday life at the time. The second, practical part, called History at Play, is devoted to didactics and practical activities that will be used in teaching 4th and 7th grade primary school. The research and devising of didactic applications included, in addition to studying the literature, comparing textbook texts, attending listening sessions, consulting with colleagues and carrying out teaching practice. This process included the creation of the author's teaching cards as well as games and their practical testing during the author's teaching practice. Changes and growth of a small town in time of normalization - the example of Benešov u Prahy

The thesis deals with the transformation of Benešov u Prahy from a backward town with nine thousand inhabitants to the centre of Podblanicko area with almost twice as many residents. The change did not come easily. The inhabitants and offices dealt with many problems ranging from inadequate transport and business networks to insufficient capacity in school facilities. Within twenty years (1970s and 1980s), Benešov underwent an immense transformation, which is evident at first sight. Prefabricated housing estates were built on the outskirts of the town and in densely built-up areas that had been redeveloped for building purposes. Not even the monuments escaped this remediation. The present-day appearance of Benešov is largely a reflection of fifteen to twenty years of construction activities in the monitored period. How has Benešov changed over the 20 years of the reporting period? What kind of transformation have all parts of the town undergone (center, peripherals)? Was it possible to offer sufficient capacity (housing, work) to new arrivals and old residents? How did Benešov cope in terms of services (education, transport, apartments, business network) with almost twice the number of inhabitants? History of education in Bernartice in the 20th century

The thesis deals with the history of education in the town of Bernartice in between years 1894-1945. In five chapters it describes a progress of education in the town and a foundation of new schools regarding exceptional events. In the first chapter the thesis presents general history of the town from its first settlements until the year 1945 and in that chapter, it also maps the history of education from its first mentions until 1894. The chapters that follow are divided by historical events. All chapters are divided into even subchapters, which describe teachers, pupils, extracurricular activities, unusual events, and wars. The thesis offers chronological overview of the progress of education in Bernartice.
Chronicals of the town of Přeštice in mutual comparison

Goal of this thesis was to study municipal, parish and school chronicles of the town of Přeštice, including their authors. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. In the first chapter, the history of the town of Přeštice is briefly outlined. The development of the town administration, parish and local schools is emphasized. The following chapter discusses the development of Czech chronicle writting. It also describes laws, standards and regulations that formed the management of chronicles and their content. The third chapter devotes to history of the chronicle writting of the town of Přeštice. It introduces each chronicle, all its authors and describes the form of its records. Subsequently, a comparison of the chronicles in time periods between the years 1831-1840 and 1867-1993 is done, including the analysis of their thematical intersections. In the conclusion, all of the findings are summarized and the directions of the future research are indicated. As a supplementary material, full text of all the laws, standards and regulations described in the second chapter, tables with an overview of all the described chronicles, photos of the chronicles and chroniclers are included.
The parish chronicle of Olešnice (1787 - 1887)

The Bachelor's work Parish chronicle of Olešnice want to introduce the theme of parish chronicle by means of scientific edition. It is divided into seven chapters and it's included too list of the literature and sources, with supplements, in which we found the edition of chronicle, tables, maps, index of name and places and samples of the single chronicler's handwritings. The first chapter acquaint readers with this theme and evaluate the literature and sources, which deal about it. The next chapter directs to the common history of church and the administration in the late modern period. The following chapters is the history of Olešnice and the history of parish, with the emphasis on the edition period. The fifth pars consider with the norms and orders of parish chronicle. On it connect the description of chronicle and evaluation of its writings, including characterization of writers. At the close are compiled total knowledge and analysis of parish chronicle like the historically source. There are too sketech the possibilities of its another usage for next studies.
Czech Luxembourges in french contemporary historiography

Petra JEDINÁKOVÁ, CZECH LUXEMBOURGES IN FRENCH CONTEMPORARY HISTORIOGRAPHY, Prague, Faculty of Philosophy, Charles University in Prague 2012. The aim of this thesis is to consider the relationship of Czech Luxembourg dynasty towards the French dynasty and the impact of their policies in western Europe. The work also focuses on different ways of perception of the Luxembourgs in both Czech and French environment and reasons for such observations. The Luxembourg dynasty, being originally an earl family of the French from Luxembourg, always had a strong relation towards France and its ruling dynasty which was based on mutual respect, friendship, similar opinions and also family bonds, the successors were educated at the French court. The two countries supported each other in fight andalso by mutual contact, visits and in terms of diplomacy. We have testimonies regarding these events thanks to medieval sources such as chronicles, annals, documents, correspondence and texts of authors from the French environment, who personally met Czech kings from the House of Luxembourg and therefore left us important insights into the situation of that time. John of Luxembourg has been perceived in as a model of knightly virtues and a brave fighter always loyal to the French king. In Bohemia, he was for centuries...
